Meet Sjuul, co-owner of GRAIL and buyer for our store.
With his long-standing love for sneakers he will show his favourite picks for this season.

1. New Balance M1906RWF
My favorite sneaker this season is the 1906 from New Balance. It's a comfortable, lightweight sneaker that’s great for everyday wear. Especially while working in-store.

2. adidas originals Handball Spezial Core Black / Cloud White / Gum

The adidas spezial will always have a "special" place in my sneaker heart. Ever since the T Toe hype came along, adidas did what they do best: many great releases with crazy colorways. I just couldn’t resist highlighting this OG.

A true classic that never goes out of style and can be matched with any outfit. I have been wearing my own pair with love for over 5 years and my love keeps growing with all the wear and tear.

P.s a perfect beater

3. Merrell Ontario SP Lace SE Aluminum
Probably an unexpected choice: the Merrell Ontario SP Lace. I got to know the brand in 2023 and it immediately caught my attention. Finally, after a long wait we have the sneakers in our store.

The sneakers are inspired by outdoor shoes and have a more mature look. This sets them apart from other sneakers and I think they are amazing.

I would definitely recommend to check out Merrell if you are tired of the more well known sneakers.

4. New Balance 610

We have another pair of New Balance sneakers. This ML610TAU colorway really gets me. An outdoor-inspired sneaker with perfect stability.

Unfortunately, New Balance will stop releasing this model from next season. So if you still want a pair: be quick!

5. Mizuno Wave Rider 10

And finally: the Mizuno Wave Rider 10. The perfect sneaker to complete any black outfit with its cool, sleek lines.

Japanese sneaker design has always interested me and is not something you hear about much in our area. Yet, Mizuno has managed to storm the European market, which I completely understand.

A sporty look that I personally love.
