Bonded fleece is laminated to a second layer rather than hanging loose, which gives the fabric structure and keeps the jacket holding its shape instead of collapsing. That makes it usable as an outer layer, not just a mid layer. The stretch nylon panels allow movement while creating the precise shaping around the pockets. The 3M branding sits on the side panel and at the back neck.
