A regular beanie turns into a lump under a ski or bike helmet. This one does not: it is cut short and sits close to the head, so it disappears underneath without pinching. Outside there is a soft jersey, inside a thin layer of fleece that holds the warmth in. The Ellipse logo is reflective. In Pitch Black it goes with more or less any helmet.
