When the Spezial came out in 1979 it was built for indoor handball. It found its way onto the street through the English football terraces and never left. This colourway is the one most people picture: navy suede, light blue 3-Stripes and a gum sole. The upper is soft cow suede and the outsole is gum rubber, exactly as the original had it.
